It's been ages since my last post! I was planning on chronologically updating it, starting with photos from Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas, but due to popular demand, I'm skipping ahead to my recent trip to the UK...
England was lovely! The fields were a vivid green colour, and the trees made beautiful silouettes against the blue sky.

I enjoyed many things about England..., the fresh air, the novelty of being in a car that's driving down the left side of the road, the cream (I've never seen so many kinds of cream at a store before), the wildlife (Egyptian geese, pheasants, sea gulls), and the evidence of history's mark left by ancient buildings...homes, cathedrals and castles. I saw a castle with a moat around it!

The people who I met were kind and hospitable, and the food was good! The first meal we were served was a feast...a roast lamb with carrots and potatos, broccoli, and Yorkshire pudding. For dessert, we were offered a fruit salad, custard, and apple crisp. And after all this, a platter of cheese was brought out! Having never been offered such a variety before, it was fun to try the different kinds.
The best part of the trip was the great company I had all week long!

Egyptian Geese in Norwich, England. Not sure why they're called Egyptian and why they're in England. Perhaps they nest in Egypt and migrate to England? Hmm.
